Harvest Moonlit Mountain Teahouse

Join us to behold the Harvest Moon, on a granite outcrop, high above Eaton Canyon, and overlooking the entire city of Los Angeles, all the way to the ocean ~ sitting with the cliff faces and forest as they transition through sunset to moonrise.

The evening will include ceremonial tea for aromatic degustation, thoughtfully prepared tisanes, a variety of jazz played through an Adam Audio T5V Studio Monitor Pair for immersive sound, and a spread including fresh bread, imported olive oils, and charcuterie. Arrive with enough time to settle into the landscape before sunset, and enjoy a gentle return home afterward—guests on tight schedules can expect to be back in La Cañada before 10:00 PM after the short mountain descent.

Why the Harvest Moon ?

The Harvest Moon is named for the autumn harvest season, when farmers traditionally used its unusually prolonged evening moonlight to gather crops after sunset. 

Important Information

Please ensure to bring adequate warmth for the evening forest chill, expect a light breeze. Floor coverage and lighting will be provided. It is recommended to bring a journal for reflection.

There will be no cellular service once you enter the mountains, there is only one turn. Please load your directions before ascending. The road is windy, drive safely and beware of motion sickness.

There is plentiful street parking at location, but please try to carpool if you're coming with anybody. There is no hike, the Teahouse is a few steps from the parking lot.
